We are a member of the Quality Network of Dupont de Nemours, creator of Corian®. Belonging to this network ensures you a high finishing level. Indeed, it aims to ensure the highest quality manufacturing, sales and technical services. It is backed by a 10-year product and installation warranty. Onebest Furniture is also one of the Chinese leaders for the transformation of Solid Surface (mineral resin), we design and manufacture furniture, object and external cladding in Corian®. We control our production from measurement to installation. Expertise and quality of execution positions Onebest Furniture on high-quality and luxury projects, where excellence is required.

And we can help customers to bespoke any solid surface furniture, like reception desk, bar counter, office desk, conference table, dining table, kitchen countertops, bathroom sinks, wall decorations and so on, we can provide free 3D design darwings based on customers' requirements.

In order to be shaped, the Corian® solid surface is heated to 180 degrees. At this time, it is possible to give it a shape thanks to molds or wooden bases. With our 5 axis digital control, we design our own molds and model complex parts. Some of our designs are meticulous and can be composed of different pieces glued together depending on the complexity of the object to be built. The demarcations are invisible to an amateur’s eye, so the finished piece will seem to be a single piece.

More surprising but still as innovative, is that the process for printing on Corian® is becoming more widely adopted. The company has worked on a display for a museum and this involves adding images and texts on Corian® thanks to a printer combined with an oven which bakes the ink during the printing process, sealing it on the material.

Is Solid Surface the Right Countertop and Desktop for You?

Solid surface is a low-maintenance countertop material known for its seamless appearance and numerous available designs, which often mimic the look of natural stones.

Introduced in the late 1960s under the brand “Corian,” it is made from acrylic or polyester resin that can be shaped into any form thanks to thermoforming. It has a consistent composition throughout its thickness, hence the term “solid surface.” Unlike laminates, which feature a thin decorative surface layer, solid surface has a uniform color and pattern evident throughout its entire thickness.

Apart from Corian, other notable brands include “Staron,” “Hanex,” and “Solflex.” It is also often referred to as “synthetic granite” by some contractors and suppliers here in the China.

Choosing a Solid Surface Fabricator: Why Accreditations Matter

When you’re specifying solid surfaces for a project, most of the conversation is around the material: which brand, which finish, how it performs and what it looks like in situ.
The fabricator producing it tends to get less attention – specifically, the standards they operate to and the accreditations that back those up. It’s not the most glamorous part of a specification decision but it’s often a more useful indicator of quality than a brochure.
We wanted to explain what accreditations actually mean in the industry, why they matter when you’re choosing a fabricator and why we’ve recently invested in extending our own.
